The Den at Clemson (East)

There are some amazing staff that need a shout-out! Summer (the Leasing and Marketing Director) with TJ (the new CA) came to my rescue. My refrigerator went out and maintenance wasn't in. Summer and TJ went out of their way to personally make sure I had a working fridge same-day. They even brought one up an entire flight of stairs. I truly felt important to them and I want The Den to know they need to hold onto these amazing human beings!

I have such mixed emotions about this place. I will say that the head manager Stephanie is a super star, tries incredibly hard to make things work/improve with the ownership change. My unit is a two bedroom, and was the model, so I’d say it is of higher quality than the others. The landscaping is nice, the property has a unique feel/vibe, I have never felt unsafe, sense of community, and some things are nicely renovated. I lived here before the ownership change, and it used to be THE place for the absolute best price. This being said, I am not resigning, because in the last two years, my rent has increased 25%, while the quality has decreased that same amount. I think a lot of the problems people mention with the bills, and the renovations are behind this place. During the ownership change

I took over a lease for the summer and was in another state while taking care of all the paperwork and details. Caleb, was amazing at helping me through the process from across the country. I wish I could give zero stars. They moved me into an apartment that had been trashed by the previous tenant, with animal feces and smoke residue everywhere. Even their maintenance team admitted they had no time to properly clean. What I toured in the show apartment was a dream – what I moved into was a nightmare. Day 1 was spent cleaning the apartment and battling their clunky inspection app that kept crashing. After 10+ failed attempts to submit the move-in inspection, I sent a detailed email with photos of the damage. The response? "We'll be in touch" and nothing was addressed after that. Here’s the reality: leaks, mold, holes everywhere, a loose toilet, a shower that sprayed sideways, rust, and gaps in the trim/doors/windows. A broken washer that shook violently. While looking for an apartment for my student, I stopped by The Enclave. Tonya stopped what she was doing to help me. The complex seems wonderful and the new pool looked great. Tonya gave me a tour, answered all my questions, listened close to my concerns, and really seemed interested in helping us get just what we needed! Great customer service and nice location.
