I have lived here just under a year, and the staff are absolutely fantastic, especially Kyle. My neighbours are extremely thoughtful and discrete as well, even though the walls are a little thin. The yoga classes are amazing and I frequently utilize the community barbecue and clean it as most residents also clean the barbecue. Despite being expensive compared to everything else on the market, it's definitely worth it. The one downside is the winter clean up. Even on weekends, if I don't move my car at 7AM after a snow fall, they will attempt to tow it. My work vehicle is too big for their carports so I can't park it in there. I hope they have some more leeway in the future as I work in the medical field with on-call rotations. One time I got home at 2AM Saturday morning and I had to get u
University Heights was my first ever apartment living experience and it was truly excellent. I moved out due to relocating for work, otherwise I absolutely would have continued living there. Their office management, maintenance staff, and all staff are incredibly friendly and thorough. The grounds are beautiful and they do an excellent job at maintaining their units, grounds, and snow removal. It’s quiet, clean, and I felt safe living there. I would highly recommend checking them out!
I had a very poor experience here in almost every aspect. The electric bill was more expensive than the 3 bedroom house I own, even on a month no one was there and I was traveling. I deliberately stoped using things to help with the cost and it did nothing to help. The math isn’t mathing there. I called both the electric company and management and received zero help. There is a serious mouse problem and they caused damage to my personal property even had to throw things like sneakers, clothes and furniture out. This is even more problematic due to being charged a monthly fee for “pest control”. Living as a female alone I don’t recommend living there. Some of the neighbors are great but has a real issue with one who consistently yelled, swore and threatened someone’s life… I was also not a
Very militant snow removal, you better have your car moved at the exact designated time (no where is safe except the mailbox area, even the overflow area in the upper building lots with cleared spaces aren't safe if there is some snow in the surrounding spots as was the situation in my case) or you get towed by the most expensive tow company in the area ($450 picking it up the next morning since i didn't notice until they were closed). You're better off parking near the mailboxes all winter and letting the snow pile there since they apparently don't care if you have a car there with 10 feet of snow burying it. Edit: I moved my car from my building to the overage lot/a plowed spot, so they could PLOW my building. People work from home, it is not feasible to baby sit a car all day while w
University Heights (UH) has been home for 3 years now. My husband and I are so in love with the stunning views from our apartment. Leasing office staff and maintenance team are super nice people, so helpful and hardworking! Repairs, replacements and maintenance work gets done in no time. We really appreciate their efforts in maintaining the property so well. UH often hosts social events. These are a fun way to interact with our neighbors and also keeps the community well connected. Happy to call this place home <3
