As a long-time resident, I am extremely upset and disappointed by the lack of snow removal on the sidewalk in front of my building on Drexel Street. This is the only sidewalk that leads safely toward Main Street, yet it remains covered in snow and ice while all surrounding sidewalks have been properly cleared. It was brought to my attention that the cleaning supervisor, Lucero, specifically instructed the cleaning crew not to clear the sidewalk in front of my building, for reasons that were never explained. This makes the situation even more frustrating and unacceptable. This is the first time something like this has happened, and it is deeply concerning. This is my home and my community, and I truly dislike having to write such a negative review. However, this situation is outrageous and

I recently stopped by University City Apartments in Hyattsville while inquiring about an apartment, and I had a really great experience. From the moment I walked in, the office felt welcoming and well organized. Angela Pastor was incredibly friendly, professional, and very informative. She took the time to answer all of my questions and made the whole process feel comfortable and stress free. It’s clear she really cares about helping people find the right place to live. If you’re looking for an apartment in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by and speaking with Angela!

I’ve moved quite a few times over the years, but finding University City Apartments has truly been a breath of fresh air. It’s clear that this company genuinely cares about its tenants and the surrounding community. Just yesterday, they hosted a fantastic National Night Out event, providing free food and school supplies for the upcoming school year. There was a moon bounce for the kids and great music for the adults—it was such a thoughtful and enjoyable way to bring neighbors together. It was also wonderful to see the familiar and friendly faces from the leasing office, who are always so attentive and welcoming. I’ve had a great experience living at University City Apartments in MD! The staff is always pleasant and helpful especially Angela who truly goes above and beyond for the residents. Always nice to speak to her Most recently, they hosted an amazing back-to-school event that really showed how much they care. They gave away free book bags and school supplies to the kids in the community, had the local police and fire department there, and organized a ton of fun activities. There was a bouncy house, popcorn, pizza, snow cones, and drinks everything was so well thought out and fun for the whole family. It was truly a fun and eventful night. Utilities: As the rent includes utilities, could you clarify if there are any usage restrictions or time limits for gas, electricity, or internet?
