U Centre on College

This is my second year living at Ucentre. I love it so much. I feel very safe here. Perfect location and very responsive staff. The maintenance team is so fast and helpful all the time they are the best. I love how personable the staff is as a whole. Gabbie at the front desk has helped me so much and she made my moving in so smooth and is one of the main reasons I resigned for my second year. I could not imagine ucentre without her!!!

Despite living downtown, this complex is not worth it and there are far better options within a walkable distance to campus. A couple years ago Ucentre was known to be very reliable but sadly no longer. The management constantly changing should be the first sign. The front office staff are not the nicest and very passive aggressive. I lived here for 2 years (I wish I hadn’t but I signed my second lease after only living there for a few weeks - don’t do this) but it took us a whole YEAR to get a new dryer that came broken. Because it was a group of girls, they decided to never take us seriously and even tried to make us believe that maintence never came even though we were there when they came. Living at UCentre was the best experience of my life, mostly because of staff member Luke Manolescu. Luke is the most incredible front desk person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He is personable, very handsome, and took extreme precaution with all my mail/packages. Walking through the lobby everyday and being greeted by Luke's warm smile was easily the highlight of my day. Whenever I had any issues or questions, Luke went above and beyond to make sure they were handled quickly and thoroughly. Did I mention he is very handsome?

Mr. Alan is the best! He has helped me with every maintenance request very quickly and always gives me updates on what is going on. He is incredibly friendly and respectful. When he sees me or any of my roommates he stops just to say hi and tell us to have a good day. It makes a huge difference to live somewhere where the maintenance team actually cares. Very grateful for him and the maintenance team.

I’ve had such a positive experience at Ucentre. The building is clean, well-maintained, and super convenient for students. What really makes this place stand out is the staff. Gabbie at the front desk is always so kind and helpful!
