Towpath Village

This has to be the worst apartment complex ever. The rents are outrageous for substandard living conditions. The rent increases are substantial every year (on average $1000 per year). The snow removal process is a joke and puts residents at risk. Many times I have to shovel the entire parking lot to get my car out. The complex management is totally unsympathetic to any resident concerns. Avoid this place at all cost.

Chitra Sareen, the property manager, was wonderful through the whole process and so helpful. Very attentive, caring, and welcoming. She made the whole process smooth and efficient, and it really showed that she cares about the residents and their experience. I highly recommend renting here.

This is a very nice cozy community. It’s not overcrowded and packed with apartment after apartment. It’s set back away from any major roads, but everything you need is within a couple of miles of this serene complex. It also has an easy access to route 80. The 2 bedroom apartment I am renting is clean and spacious. They are also investing time and money in renovating older apartments which is a great sign. Who wants to settle into a community that doesn’t reinvest into the property. The property manager, Chitra, is extremely friendly and responsive to your needs. I would highly recommend Towpath over all of the other rental communities in the Hackettstown area. It’s only been 6 months, but my daughter and I are very happy with our choice.

So far, my experience with Chitra, the property manager has been wonderful. From making appointments for viewing the apartment, prompt in returning my calls, emails & texts& communication in signing my lease. The grounds look well kept. I got all good vibes here!
