Town Walk at Hamden Hills

I absolutely love living at Townwalk Dr! The community here is peaceful, well-maintained, and feels very welcoming. The amenities are fantastic, everything is clean, thoughtfully designed, and truly adds to the comfort of living here. It’s the perfect balance of convenience and comfort. So grateful to call this place home!

Poor Construction and Odor Leakage. The construction quality here is incredibly poor. The walls and vents are so thin or poorly sealed that I could constantly smell exactly what my neighbors were cooking. It got to the point where my own clothes and closets smelled strongly of their food. If you want a home that feels private and smells clean, look elsewhere.

So far so good...although we’ve only lived here for like 3 weeks now. I’ll post updates as my stay here continues because I know I find reviews super helpful (especially when deciding where to live). Management is really responsive when it comes to repairs. Our liaison, Janet, is the best! Everyone in the neighborhood is super nice and says a casual hello even if you don’t know them. The east side is peaceful and we love the dog park. I agree that the rental agreement is pretty thorough (and not in a good way). Basically everything and anything is your liability and fault so just know what you’re signing up for. My loft style (Warner West) is really cool and spacious. The natural light is amazing! Hopefully things will continue to stay this way 🙂

My time at Town Walk was absolutely wonderful. The community is beautifully maintained, offering a pleasant and comfortable living environment. What made my experience particularly memorable was the staff, especially Dyllon and Eric from the maintenance team. Dyllon's approachable nature and dedication to the residents' needs made everyday interactions delightful. Eric deserves a special mention for his efficiency and skill in maintaining the property. His work ensured that any maintenance issues were swiftly and professionally handled, contributing greatly to the quality of living here. Town Walk has truly been a fantastic place to live, and I highly recommend it for its top-notch amenities and exemplary staff.

DO NOT MOVE TO TOWN WALK. If you like the style of apartment, the amenities, and the location, go to Aspen Glen next door. They consistently have lower prices and are not run by an out of state corporate slumlord. As long as Town Walk is owned by Jones Street Residential, you will regret living here. I lived here for over 2 years and the first year I lived here, I would have given the place 5 stars easily. But when I got hit with a major rent increase, even though nothing in my apartment or on the grounds was being upgraded, I started looking into the situation here further. After speaking with dozens of residents, many of them long term tenants, I found that things here had gotten so poor under Jones Street Residential’s management.
