I know the unexpected happens, but I have never been so demoralized by the way we have been treated in our circumstance. A pipe broke and flooded our apartment hitting the kitchen, laundry room, closet, bathroom, and impacting our bedroom the most. Everything we stored underneath our bed was soaked, water pooled into the bottom of my drawers. It was a nightmare come true. I will say that maintenance acted quick to clean the hallways and remove the water from the room, but as for the tenants? They couldn’t care less. Our bedroom is unusable, our floors are covered in whatever substance they’re using for the wetness. Most of our rooms have exposed walls, and there’s three dehumidifiers running 24/7. Nothing says “welcome home” like returning from a month-long business trip to a broken elevator and dusty, torn-apart hallways from, yet another pipe burst. Building 18, the same story! Living in a building with outdated plumbing and obviously deteriorating infrastructure that turning this place into a construction site every year is bag enough. What makes it unacceptable is complete silence from TO management about any of this. No notices, no emails no updates about timelines, repairs, safety concerns, etc etc etc.. The only emails this management seems capable of sending are genetic "community announcements", usually wrapped up with fake concern about how much they care and are here to help. These apartments have been so good to as I go through the move in process but what was truly a highlight was one of the leasing agents, Lydia Quinn. Working with Lydia Quinn during my move-in process was an outstanding experience. She was consistently professional, transparent, and incredibly supportive, making what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and well-organized. Lydia took the time to answer every question thoroughly and ensured I felt confident and informed at every step. Her dedication to excellent service truly made a difference, and I’m very grateful for the care and attention she provided.

It is 8:45. On a Saturday. After holloween Friday. Why am I being woken up to buzz saws and cranes? I get your reconstructing.
