The Vance Apartments

They're on their 6th management company in the last 2 years. They were supposed to be remodeling apartments with all these modern features but that stopped after about 10 apartments. It's very obvious that the people being moved in for the last 6 months are not the type of people you want as neighbors. But clearly they're catering to the cash only transaction crowd and skipping the criminal or credit check. Also what they won't tell you is all the car breakins here, and the "security" they have literally comes in and drives through the complex once and then spends 45 minutes sitting in the office.Bottom line is it's a "liveable" complex, but the rent has gotten insane for all the crime here.

I lived here 2 years ago and still haven’t received my security deposit. I cannot get through to anyone who knows what the hell is going on, and the just pass responsibility to the last property management company. Beginning to think I’ll need to get a lawyer involved. Also, the front desk has no idea what they’re doing. They double charged all our move in fees and argued with us about paying them. BEWARE

Yes, my name is Terrie Bayard out of the apartment, 112 for the pests almost 7 years. If it wasn’t for Arlette, the new manager, I would probably get my notice. She is the best property manager I’ve ever had since living here. She’s always in the office. She has a pleasant demeanor. She’s the most amazing manager. From the time I applied for these apartments everything has gone smoothly…. Bianca made the process go smoothly… she was on top of it!!!! Octavio at the leasing office is great ! When he first started I came to him with a list of questions and he was able to answer all of them… he has a very easy going personality. And every time I’ve encountered him his attitude is the same… I appreciate you for that. I’ve had minor maintenance issues in the 3 months I’ve been here and Michelle as been the main person fixing them. She is great… and address the issues in a timely manner!!! I appreciate you, Michelle… Yes, I’ve seen some roaches … I hate them… not sure why they are here because I keep a clean place… but the leasing office will have the exterminator to come to your unit whenever you request

Moving in soon and I’m so excited that I have to share my experience. I highly recommend going on a tour with Ammy. She is so kind and helpful throughout the entire process. I was able to move on the day that I needed and within less than 48 hours I was able to get approved. To all the other tours I have done none compare to Ammy’s the attention, attitude, and enthusiasm for her work is amazing. Thank you so much!
