The Trellises Apartments

I toured several properties in Florence, and Trellises Apartments is a no-brainer when it comes to choosing a place to live. Alex was a fantastic leasing agent who asked all the right questions to help me find my perfect home. Ashley, the manager, was incredibly kind and took the time to answer all of my questions. The entire experience was welcoming and professional, highly recommend!

Was assured by lease agent that a previous DUI wouldn’t factor and we’d get the apartment. 5 days later we got rejected: mind you the complex we ended up getting approved for took less than 5 hours. We were assured our deposit would be refunded within 28 days: we are now almost 2 months later no deposit and nobody will return our calls so I guess next step is small claims hearing. Renters BEWARE!

This is a decent, market-rate apartment in a fairly safe community. There are several highlights, including pet-friendliness and flexible lease terms. The unit I had was outdated but fairly clean and in working order. Several areas need remodeled and the “landlord special” is all over the place. The gym is not substantial enough to replace a full time gym for most people, but it gets you by in a pinch. The pool area is the nicest amenity, especially when you can find it without children all over the place. The game room/billiards room is kind of a joke and waste of space. As a resident, I have taken it upon myself to clear the walkway and some of the sidewalks for my mother and the neighbors. Unfortunately, the "luxury" apartment complex where we reside does not meet the standards one would expect. The complex charges additional fees for services that are not provided. For example, the valet trash service: we have a designated trash can outside our door for a third-party service to collect our trash. However, more often than not, the trash is not picked up. This service was not requested by me or any of the residents, yet it is enforced on residents regardless. I've been searching for a new home for a few weeks now, and I've just had the best overall experience with Ashley from The Trellises, than anywhere else I've looked so far. She was very professional, and very friendly. I'm hopeful that I can make a fit into my budget because, the location and amenities they have to offer are more than appealing. I definitely recommend seeking the out if you're in the market for a new home!
