The Terraces

The Terraces condominium complex in Sunnyvale is a hidden gem. It is a small, friendly, community of different people who look out for each other. The 102 unit complex was built in 1987, and has been well maintained since then by a strong Homeowners Association. My two bedroom, two bathroom unit is very well insulated and comfortable, and quiet most of the time. The location is superb, if you work in the Silicon Valley. Central to everything. I updated my unit with new finishes throughout. It is modern and beautiful, with an excellent view. I love it here!

I have stayed in this apartment for more then a year. Construction is pretty old and hence expect all problems of old apartment. Some unit owners have upgraded appliances but basics are still old. Insulation quality is really bad and in Summers units heats up crazy(no AC) and in Winters its really cold inside unit even after running heaters(expect electricity bill too be $200+). These are things you can't fix. Overall I would say pay a bit more and stay in other nearby better apartments.

My family and I lived at the Terraces at Sunnyvale for 7 years. What a blessing! Great neighbors, so well located to the 280, shopping, grocery’s and restaurants. We had a great view of Silicon Valley, and spent a lot of time in the pool and hot tub.

Have been living here since past few months. Place is very good. Helpful and quiet neighbors. Location is excellent. It is located close to the tech companies like Apple, Nvidia, Google, Qualcomm etc. Famous Indian grocery stores and restaurants within 1 mile.
