I’ve had a generally positive experience living at The Six Apartments. I haven’t experienced any major issues, and overall I do like my apartment and the community. There have been a few minor maintenance items that required work orders. While some things take time, the leasing office does follow up and communicates along the way, which I appreciate. I especially want to shout out Lonnice. She is truly amazing and makes a big difference in the resident experience. When you’re spending thousands of dollars on a place to live, it really matters to feel heard and acknowledged. She remembers residents’ names, is genuinely kind, and always greets you with warmth, which is refreshing. I’ve only lived at The Six for six months, and I can honestly say I am deeply unhappy with my experience. The location is the only strong positive is it’s walkable to shops, restaurants, and a movie theater but the quality of living does not match the high rent being charged. Since moving in, there have been ongoing power and electrical issues that disrupted my work and daily life. On top of that, fees that should be fixed—like trash—fluctuate without explanation, making monthly charges unpredictable. Most recently, the property started charging for internet with no notice, despite the fact that I already pay my own internet provider separately.
