Really great experience so far. They have high expectations for their tenants, however they completely meet those same expectations. I'm amazed at how soon I receive a response when I ask for maintenance. The people working there always remember my name! I don't know how they do it. I love that they pick up recycling instead of trash because that really motivates people to recycle more I think.

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. My experience with Oakwood Management at Ravines at Westar was defined by dishonesty, disorganization, and practices that come disturbingly close to predatory. Throughout our lease, management repeatedly issued false noise complaints; up to the point of threatening eviction, including accusations of power tools we didn’t even own. When we spoke directly with the neighbor they claimed was reporting us, that neighbor confirmed the complaints weren’t about us at all. Even after that, the office continued sending threatening notices, showing just how little effort they put into verifying anything before harassing their tenants. Hello, I was a tenant here recently. Please excuse my casual formatting but do avoid renting here. I leased a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit for a year. The walls are thin. You can hear your neighbors flushing the toilet. You can hear people in the breezeway and you can hear all the traffic, including the street racing motorcycles that gather at the nearby gas station almost every night. The trash compactors are constantly over flowing or broken. This leads to a foul smell. On top of that, the phase I stayed in has the furthest walk to the dumpster. Taking out the trash from the third floor and walking a football field’s length in the snow is not desirable. There is no assigned parking. If you’d like to rent a garage for $150/month you will have to be placed on a several month long wait lis
