The Point at Downingtown

Unfortunately there is no option to give a 0-star rating, otherwise I would have considered it. My experience living at The Point at Downingtown was unfortunately not positive, mainly because of the management. While the apartment itself and the community environment were fine, the attitude and behavior of the management made living here uncomfortable. They seemed to allow certain residents to use shared spaces like the lobby for celebrations, yet whenever we asked, there was always an excuse. This felt unfair and inconsistent. Additionally, their communication style was not friendly or welcoming — even with kids. Instead of feeling like a community, it often felt like we were treated differently. Don't fall in love with apartment community just by looking at lobby and garden area. Read below - 1. Shallow kitchen cabinets – Kitchen cabinets are too shallow and deep; you will have lot of trouble taking things in and out. Large cabinets are placed too high and almost of no use, If you are short person. they had electric wiring(socket) inside the cabinet in my apartment. please refer picture below, who builds apartment like this in 2021? 2. *** Noise complaints even with walking*** – Apartments have wooden floors and lot of issues with intolerant neighbor complaining about walking. Don’t expect any help from management. Going into my 4th term here at the Point & living in this community has been an awesome experience. The neighbors are always friendly, and the atmosphere feels welcoming and safe. I truly appreciate how attentive and supportive the entire staff is— from maintenance to the leasing staff every single person on the team is the best of the best, and it really shows in how well everything is managed. Happy to be apart of such remarkable community!

I have been living in this community for over a month now. When you look for a place to live in, the most important concern is the maintenance and cleanliness and I must say, I have never been this satisfied with the friendliness of the staff and the positive responses we get for all our queries. It has been an amazing experience so far and I would definitely recommend the apartment to anyone who is looking for a family friendly environment to live in!

Lived here for 4 years, worst part was the new management.After Txx took over, everything went downhill. She would literally stand outside our door with her dog, constantly nitpicking and making us feel uncomfortable. Basic maintenance like replacing a broken microwave or fridge could take one to two months. We ended our lease early just to get away. Long-term tenants deserve better. Avoid this place under current management and also no communication before they send out to the debt collection for thoundsands dollars without any prior notice or itemized items. No call, no letter from leasing office, they sell you to the debt collection. Avoid this place, big company they treat you like you can do nothing or you have minimum rights.
