The Oceanfront Galveston Apartments

I have been a resident here at Oceanfront for just over 2 years and in that time Rosa and Brooke have been absolutely fantastic with their care and attention to renters issues and concerns! The community event recently in their office was a wonderful way to get everyone together and know your neighbors better. Thank you for making Oceanfront a beautiful place to call home.

A little history: I lived at Oceanfront from 2012 - 2013 when the property was owned and managed by Arcadian Communities. I found Oceanfront to be a great community with amazing views, friendly staff and low-maintenance. The Arcadian manager (Vickie) was fantastic to work with and made sure that all my maintenance needs were met. They made my stay at oceanfront very enjoyable. In 2013, right before my lease ended, Arcadian Communities sold this property to First Capital Advisers. From what I understand, First Capital Advisers made false promises to residents, some of which included Apartment renovations, new amenities, etc. First Capital Advisers also rented to unqualified renters who couldn't pay rent. It's because of First Capital Advisers that Oceanfront now has a tarnished name

When moving out from here, beware. Make sure you move out in one trip. If you don't, you may be robbed. Property Management and Maintenance have a key, and they stole some high-end personal property of mine in between moving trips. I would be more specific, but I filed a police report for the theft. Also, the main reason I moved is twofold: They refuse to fix things (big things like AC and ceiling holes caused by heavy rain, mold); and they used to have a property manager who is not a good person. I will leave it at that. The view is good, but the place is basically just a prettier Antigua.

I absolutely love this community just off the beach in Galveston! The location is perfect—close enough to walk to the shore, but far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. The neighbors are friendly, and everything feels safe and well-maintained. It's the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway or even a more permanent stay. Thank you Ana for helping me find my new home ❤️ Highly recommend!
