(See attached video with volume on) I’m paying $2,700+ a month for a studio and have been enduring constant construction noise from 7:40 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day, with hammering, drilling, shaking, and music from the workers that have affected my mental and physical health. I was never told I’d be sharing a wall with a major construction site when signing the lease, I feel scammed — they’re literally tearing down a parking lot and building an entirely new unit next door. I’m basically living in a construction zone, not a residential building. It’s been almost two months since I first complained, yet management has done nothing — stressing that the work isn’t “breaking the law.” Their initial advice was to “go to a café,” and they even claimed I was “the only one complaining,” despite mult
Definitely avoid this apartment. If you ever have an issue, you will find ZERO live person to actually help you resolve it. I lived in this apartment for 12 months with 12 months of successful, on-time payments. My online payment access was suddenly disabled after one single payment failure, which was caused by my bank changing its routing number — not by non-payment. Management disabled online payment without citing any lease provision, repeatedly saying it was their “internal policy.” When asked to point to the lease, they could not. The only fee-free alternative they offered was mailing a check to Texas, which is already unreasonable given there is no onsite office and no in-person support. On January 2, I mailed a cashier’s check to Texas as instructed. Management explicitly stated in
DO NOT LIVE HERE! They have one of the worst maintenance crews here. Lived here for 2 years. - Front window was smashed upon moving in. Their temporary fix was a piece of cardboard and painters tape. Was freezing inside. ETA on the repair was 1-2 weeks for the tempered glass to arrive. I had to use my own money and purchase insulation and mastic tape. - Washer/dryer has broke down a few times. They replace it with a vacant apartment's washer/dryer and it always has mildew and smells terrible. I had to wash them before operating. - Plumbing issues: bathroom sink didn't drain one time and the maintenance man who attempted to resolve the issue left a huge mess on the floor. They ended up calling a plumper to make the repair. - One morning I woke up in the middle of the night to use the re
This apartment complex imposes an excessive number of additional fees. For instance, a late fee is levied even if rent is paid past the due date, and further delays will result in being placed on a removal list with an additional fine imposed. Our recent late payment was a mere accident caused by a bank error on our end, yet we were still penalized. A great many of these penalty items were not specified whatsoever in the rental terms and conditions. Additionally, the online payment function on the apartment’s app has been disabled for our account, and the management refuses to reactivate it—stating that we must make all payments in cash or by cashier’s check for three consecutive months before the function can be restored. This requirement is entirely unreasonable and unfair.
I have lived here for 2 years now. Here is my good and bad reviews of the place. The advantages are : 1. Shopping area right next to the property which has a Starbucks, lucky supermarket, a liquor store, few eateries, saloons and a petrol pump. 2. The maintenance staff are very quick and always helped us with our issues with the apartment. They are good people. 3. Lot of flowers and nice garden around the property. The disadvantages of the property are : 1. Bad plumbing infrastructure. In the 2 years I lived here I have had 4 cases of kitchen sink flooding and 3 cases of bathroom clogging. (We keep cameras at kitchen and bathrooms when we travel for long to avoid major crisis). Lower floors are more dominantly effected as water from all floors above it come to the lower floor when there i
