The Mill at Mill Creek is an apartment complex that tries to go big, but falls a little flat. The rent is not too bad for the area, and the location is nice. There are your two stars. This complex, however, falls flat on it's communication on all fronts. The Active building app community wall is heavily monitored and filtered to prevent things from looking bad in an almost "head under ground" style of facing down issues. Want the management to take care of a large pile of literal garbage in the middle of the complex? Good luck getting a response. Want that pesky mold building up in your bathroom (behind the toilet resovoir) taken care of? No dice. Sink not working for 3 weeks? "We will put in a maintenance request". Pool not open? "Oh, we thought it was ooen". These are just a few of the

There has been disappointment after disappointment with these apartments. Right when we moved in there was issues. We first wanted to move in a day early from our original moving date but they said no because they still had to make sure everything was good and ready before we moved in. When we finally moved in things were a mess. The blinds had not been changed and they were all chewed on. Probably from the previous renter’s pets. The nob on the washer machine was broken and the door was falling off. This is what they call getting the apartment ready? After this we had issues with mold and people constantly coming in and out to fix things. They promote “newly renovated apartments” but they never say they will renovate it while you live here which causes a huge inconvenience. My wife and I

Lived here for 3 years and there are definitely pros but looking back, definitely more trouble than it’s worth. Let’s start with the good, the Location is great I mean the nature preserve nearby and easy access to the town center plus 10 min from my work was fantastic. Also the staff was friendly and the landscaping and amount of trees around was very nice. To the bad: apartment had constant mold problems, I had 2 dehumidifiers running basically 24/7 and that barely kept it at bay, it was outdated, had cheap appliances, peeling paint and just overall pretty bad condition. I guess I should have noticed but moving in right out of college I didn’t know what signs to look for. Also once the squatters moved in above me the real fun began. There was always people in and out at all times of nig

I lived at The Mill for 3 years and during my time here I watched the property management change hands. I thought the initial company was bad and looked forward to Sack Properties taking over, but they were WAY worse than I could have imagined. We broke our lease early because the neighbors started to become less than ideal (non stop barking dogs and smoke smells), the office staff is rude and not good at their job and the construction they are doing is very disrupting especially if they are home most of the day. At one point, all 3 units around us were being renovated non stop for 2-3 months with construction going way past 8pm on some nights. The office staff did not care and even continued to operate during the first Covid shutdown. When confronted, the office staff admitted they had no

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE Even with lower rents, you will end of losing more money living here when it comes to taking your deposit and charging you. It is not worth the headaches and health issues this place caused. WE COMPLAINED ABOUT MOLD for months, which caused respiratory issues for my girlfriend, dog, and I. After moving out any respiratory ailments have subsided which confirms that the source was environmental. You should never have to find mold in your kitchen and bedroom because of a poorly constructed building and the attempts to fix this problem should have been taken seriously. Things are constantly falling apart and maintenance will say they are coming and often times not. When they do come, their fixes are no better than duct tape. Even months later their organization impacts
