The Hawthorne Apartments

I moved in August 2025, the front office did a terrible job of preparing the apartment. Lots of stuff was broken, things were dirty and not to mention old. After many emails and ton of maintenance requests this place is coming along great. The maintenance team has been a great help bringing my new apartment to something that is liveable and comfortable. Having said that, I want to take a moment to recognize Eddie for his outstanding service. He has always been prompt, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable whenever I’ve needed assistance. Eddie not only fixes things quickly but also takes the time to explain what he’s doing and makes sure everything is working perfectly before he leaves. I relocated here approximately a year ago. The application process for this residence was not conducted to a high standard. After multiple emails, I ultimately received a response from Cody, who expressed satisfaction with the lease. However, I was dissatisfied with the application procedure, as I believe there is room for improvement. The property itself is beautiful, and it is well cared for. And Eddie has been exceptional in addressing any repair needs. He efficiently attends to tasks ranging from the dishwasher to the dryer and the toilet, ensuring proper repairs. Thank you, Eddie, for the excellent work that you do. The staff in the office are very courteous and consistently available to assist as needed. Moved out a year ago, had a horrible experience with Mindy and Cody. From what I remember Eddie the maintenance guy was the best they had both professional and proficient at his work. Cody on the other hand couldn’t fix much of anything and often fake fix things until Eddie actually showed up and did them right. The lease office also showed favoritism towards certain residents but often tried to penalize others. Parking is tight and expensive, my Q7 got all banged up in the 20 months I lived there. This places isn’t pet friendly yet they have the highest pet rent in south county. Rent went up every cycle and worse the appliances are old and things are always breaking. I’d say based off the newer reviews things have gotten progressively worse there. I hope a reputable company finds

I have been here for 5 years and I can a lot about this place but today is simply focused on the maintenance. Eddie has been as long as I have been and although I don’t ask a lot he has always done a spectacular job. Recently I put in 5 requests and Eddie did them all. Always friendly and professional. Works with your schedule if you need to and get the job done right the first time. A one of a kind maintenance man making the Hawthorne apartments one of the best ones to live in.

I have been living here almost 4 years and I love my townhouse. The location is perfect and accessible to restaurants, grocery store, massage, pedicure, manicure, medical and dental all in walking distance. The beauty of Main Street, reminds me of home and so glad my daughter found this place. We are fortunate to have wonderful neighbors and are so happy they love to decorate for the holidays as we do. If ever we need any maintenance service, I put my request in and it’s answered pretty fast. Eddie is the go-to-guy for maintenance. He’s polite, always has a smile, and goes out of his way to get the job done correctly and in a timely matter.
