Laurels at Mill Creek Apartments

I have been a resident at the Laurels for three and a half years. Fortunately I have not needed a lot of resident support, but when I did I was helped quickly by the most kind customer care. Brenda, Alaina and Janet specifically have all been informative, personable and respectful. Plus the location is super convenient. I enjoy being a resident here!

There's a small path behind the property, real nice, small escape from the city. Also a nature reserve across the street is amazing. Been here about 2 years now and I still love it. Maintenance and office is great. Workout room looks nice. Also they had this wifi hangout room by the workout room that looked real nice, (probably still closed for now) I'd recommend this property to friends and family.

I booked a self guided tour and it was confirmed but no email for further instructions regarding the door code of the unit for viewing. I went there at the sight and called there hotline left a message and voicemail but no response.

Don’t move here. I lived here for maybe 1 month I don’t even think it was that long…to be honest I was in a hurry but with my last apartment I was so lucky because it was brand new and $1700 when I first moved in but was getting bumped up to $3200 so obviously I needed to move because that is just an outrageous amount of money. I found this place and it was crunch time, looked at one of the units that was for show and thought it was cute but come the day of moving in….the shower had chipped paint and dead bugs inside of it, there was a ton of mold on the lining of the living room sliding door and on the inside. Lived at the Laurels for about three years, recently moved out to be closed to work but stayed with the Essex Community. Never had any issues with the neighbors or area, very peaceful location and rent prices were good compared to other apartments in Mill Creek. Would like to give thanks to the maintenance guy (Larry was always very friendly and very prompt). Thank you to the management team for making my transfer a very smooth process. Thanks
