The Lodge on the Trail Apartments

It's an amazing place to live at for Purdue Students. The Staff including Katherine and Edgar are extremely sweet and helpful. The maintenance personnel Mr. Cody is very prompt in helping regarding any issue. They host interesting activities and giveaways throughout the semester to keep the vibe going! The special bus to the campus makes travel very easy. Would definitely recommend any incoming Purdue Students to consider living here.

Lodge on the Trail has a decently large apartment. Very spacious as well as giving each apartment a balcony. It’s a pretty nice place to live especially having your own bedroom and bathroom. I didn’t have a great experience from my first batch of roommates since both of them were friends and made me feel like an outcast. But I eventually got a great roommate this year. There is also a grocery store nearby as well as trails next door which is very nice. They were able to get a bus route to our stop this year, which is a bonus. However, the downside is that they increased their prices over the past three years. It used to be better than Purdue Housing prices, but increased its prices to keep competition with all other housing.

Lodge and it's employees have done a fantastic job in upkeeping and being available for their residents. The original leasing process was transparent and able to be signed quickly, while the apartment itself is well-kept and the electricity and heating are consistent even with extreme weather, and all for a much more reasonable price than a lot of apartment complexes in the West Lafayette area. The employees are friendly and very helpful and put a lot of effort into planning several events a months to bring together the community or simply supply the residents with a little treat.

I have lived at the Lodge for a year now and just resigned my lease for next year! Everyone I have worked with has been truly lovely and super helpful. Maintenance is extremely timely, helpful, and personable and they have helped us ASAP every time. Lindsay in the front office has been incredibly helpful with any issues I have had and super kind!! I have loved my experience at the Lodge and the unit is very nice, especially for the price!

The LOT has been a great place to call home during college. My dog and I will have spent 3 years living here and we don't have any complaints. The leasing staff addresses any and all concerns immediately, and the maintenance guys are at my door within hours if I report an issue. Some of my favorite amenities include the dog park, large porch for watching sunsets/rises, and the proximity to the bog. There is plenty of nature watching and immersion, between birds (bald eagles, hawks, pelicans) and other animals that call the area home!
