The Lawton Townhomes

I am a previous resident here, and I enjoyed my stay. Cherise and Charlotte were always accommodating. However, a package of my child was delivered to the old address(he forgot to put the new address) and when we went to get the package it was gone. The neighbors allowed us to see their ring camera which showed ONE OF THE MAINTENANCE MEN TAKING THE PACKAGE. We went to the leasing office two days in a row. The first time MARCIA SANTELL JONES was very rude disrespectful and empathetic, she basically said it was not turned in and it was our lost, I let it go. The second time my 15 year old went in because the package was a charm with his deceased grandfather implanted in the charm. She got rude and nasty with him as well she cut him off in the middle of him talking getting loud telling him t

I lived at The Lawton Townhomes for over two years and had a great experience. The maintenance team was always quick, friendly, and genuinely cared about the residents. The office staff were kind, welcoming, and always helpful. The office staff and the maintenance team truly goes above and beyond. If you're thinking about renting, I highly recommend taking a tour-you won't be disappointed.

I am in the process of applying for a home here at the Lawton Townhomes. Keria has been absolutely amazing. I did a tour on her 3rd day of employment and she was very knowledgeable already. I hope to continue the process with Keria. My only issue now is completing the application online. It’s not working for me. Hopefully I will hear something back soon so I can continue the process. The property looked nice. I lived in these apartments years ago when I was fresh out my mom’s on my own and they have really brought them up since then.

I've been living here for about a month now, and I can safely say it's a great improvement from where I used to live! Reading some of the negative reviews, I'm hearing a lot about roaches and rude management, but personally I haven't seen that in my experience. Not a single roach this whole time, maybe occasional spiders but that's expected around any urban area and they don't pose much of an issue. Although with that being said, it isn't the best neighborhood and it does have it's flaws, occasionally the shower leaks and it has a strange patched up hole in the tub which seems unstable, and the floor can damage quite easily, but otherwise they're great townhomes! Also I’d like to note that some of these 5 star reviews share the same last name as the property manager. Update: since I’ve posted about the playground, and no one responded or even remotely tried to fix the problem, the whole community had gotten substantially worse. Compassion and management are not vocabulary that the staff here know. I completely agree with other posters about how they are impossible to get in touch with and generally unpleasant. We just recently got out. We notified the office 2 times that the people next door were smoking inside and it was seeping into our home, we have a 2 year old and I’m pregnant. When I finally put my notice in to leave they explained all the fees, I countered with how it’s not a livable condition due to the smoke and I could see the “manager” b
