The Landon at New Albany Park

My partner and I recently moved in and our experience so far has been amazing. The apartment is plenty of space and nicely updated, and the complex is clean and quiet. I moved from across the country and have had experiences with some not so great management companies and property managers in the past and Gabby has always been a happy and helpful face here when we've needed her, and is always checking in when I've seen her around the property. My ONLY comment would be that posted office hours are a little limited, but it's been clearly communicated that if we were to need to meet outside of office hours, we're able to get that set up! It's worth mentioning as well that this is a pet friendly complex, and pet owners here have all come across as friendly and responsible.

Update 07/16/25 Although I have long moved out, I can say I witness a great improvement with the complex and management in since my original review. I had a packaged delivered that was not forwarded to my new address and I got to witness the updates. Landscaping looked very nice, nicer than I remember. The new management has was very nice and proactive with arranging a pickup for my package. Glad to see this location has made considerable improvements in a short time span. I try to give fair reviews! Overall, a decent place to live, but with some major changes and issues during my lease that have yet to be improved. The dogs feel like they outnumber the people , many large breeds and few people that can control their own dogs. The apartments are a nightmare. Loud! It feels like you are living in an office building filled with barking dogs. Amenities include one shuffleboard table, a few places to sit and a big empty space with no budget or plan to fill it. I saw many tenants move in only to move out weeks later. You will get the least amount of value for your dollar compared to other properties nearby. Check out Albany Woods or LC communities before committing.

Horrible. Horrible on every level. The management is the absolute worst. Needs ZERO or neg stars. Do not rent or buy here. The building is in poor shape and the management is awful and usually not in office. Constantly changing office workers and management. They can not decide if they are landon, LC, Sugar Run but in reality they are collective house. The team always giving wrong incorrect information or ZERO communication. We currently have zero access thru handicapped rear access and you need strength to force open the front entrance. They are aware bc several tenants esp the elderly letting them know and NO communication from office. No kidding we know youre aware, you just dont care. Stay far far away. This is a great dog friendly community. The works and neighbors are spectacular. It is a lovely place to call home.
