The Juliette Apartments

I recently moved into The Juliette Apartments and have absolutely loved my experience so far. The management is amazing and always so responsive whenever I have a question. The complex is clean and the building is walking distance from a park and Amazon Fresh. I am very particular with where I live an always read reviews to make sure the complex lives up to the images online and it certainly does. Building is brand new and completely renovated. All new appliances and is quiet. I honestly can't say enough good things about my experience so far!

I was deeply disappointed by my experience with the leasing team at Glenwest, particularly with Jason Murayama and Alex. After expressing genuine interest in an available unit and demonstrating that I met the posted requirements, I was unexpectedly told I couldn’t move forward — without a clear explanation or consistent reasoning. The process felt needlessly difficult, there was no clear communication. When I reached out to ask for clarity, I was met with dismissiveness instead of professionalism. After reading the many negative reviews about this building — which unfortunately echo what I experienced — I felt compelled to share mine. There was a couple of issues when I initially moved into this building but after new management took place I saw that things quickly turned around. I believe this building is very beautiful and they always keep it clean. I’ve never had any issues with my neighbors or the neighborhood. You become almost lazy to drive because much of what you require is walking distance. The area on this side of North Hollywood is always very busy with young professionals, always plenty of people outside walking their dogs. Perfect place to live if you do have a dog - a huge dog friendly area. The only sort of negative feedback I have is that your guests will have to find street parking to visit you, depending on the time of day parking is hard to find. I've never written a review before but I had to for this apartment. I've been without consistent hot water for 10 MONTHS. I thought it was a fluke intially and literally boiled water so I could take a hot shower. It took me threatening to not pay my rent for them to pretend to fix it. Now I get hot water but at random times. It's so unpredictable and inconvenient. I can't take a shower whenever I want to. The water is almost never hot in the morning and I have to wait until the evening to shower and that's only if the water's hot enough. It's 2024 and we're in a first world country. I pay too much to not have consistent hot water. My lease ends in 3 months and I obviously will not be renewing. I honestly want to get out of my lease earlier and move on, but I'm sure they'll find a reason

Jason Murayama is extremely unprofessional and difficult to communicate with. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere.
