I want to recognize Chelly and Austin in the leasing office at The Jameson Apartments. Chely joined the team around the holidays as a leasing agent and has already made such a positive impression. She is always kind, professional, and very helpful whenever I have questions or need assistance. Austin, the general manager, is also wonderful to work with. He is attentive, professional, and always willing to help whenever something comes up. Anytime I’ve needed anything, both Chely and Austin have been quick to respond and eager to assist. Their professionalism and willingness to help truly stand out, and it’s greatly appreciated.

I recently toured a two-bedroom apartment, and Chely was the one who assisted me. She was extremely professional, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked through the door. She took the time to show me all the available floor plans, current specials, and explained everything clearly. I really liked the renovations throughout the property. I’ll admit, I was a little skeptical about touring at first due to some reviews I had seen, but after speaking with Austin the manager, I learned that there is new management in place—and it truly shows. From the staff to the overall tour experience, everything was excellent. I had an amazing experience and will be submitting my application soon. I’m hoping to be moving in by the end of April.

I have lived here since April 2025 and this apartment has caused consistent issues for us since moving in. Shortly after moving in, our wall had a water leak that was not fixed for months after multiple maintenance requests. Management refused to replace window screens or doors that they themselves removed for maintenance because it "wasn't in the budget." In June, we experienced four separate water leaks that we had to ask to be fixed multiple times. One of these leaks led to my closet and bedroom floor to sit in standing water for multiple hours, to which they told me that there was no leak because there was "no water on the floor," because they arrived to fix it after I had already cleaned it up. On top of this, my roommate had a gaping hole in her ceiling for 3 days with exposed pipes

It looks like I dodged this. I applied, was given the go ahead, started filling things out, another fee. Contacted the office no answer. Multiple emails, after requesting rates for two separate possible move dates, and a list of full fees before continuing. My emails were responded to twice. Asking for the same info I provided and that I wouldn’t be charged for a pet portal, which the portal implied I would. Called several times no answers. The manager called me once while I was at work and didn’t pick up when I called back. I knew it wasn’t going to get better after move in. I wouldn’t do this if you were looking. There’s nicer apartments in the area. All of this happened over a week.

I moved here in February, it is now November. We pay for trash but even though 4 residents live in my unit, we are not allowed to have more than 2 trash bags outside for pickup. Sometimes the trash guys don’t pick up the trash, i have even caught them in the act before. One time my AC was leaking anytime i cut the air one. I got ahold of the maintenance man, but it took him forever to come by. When he did come, i watched him knock on the door through my ring & got upset that no one was answering. It was the middle of the day, we were at work. However he had a key to the apartment so i’m still not sure what the issue was. We also pay for pest control. All this time we’ve been here, i haven’t seen it ONCE.
