The Haven at Highland

Almost a year since we have been here & we LOVE it! Renewed our lease to stay until May 2027 because we have enjoyed living here so much. The staff from the moment we moved in have been nothing but attentive, kind & easy to talk to. They were very understanding when we came in working with the VA & just having been amazing. We only needed maintenance once since we’ve been in here because everything was move-in ready and so put together. Everyone is friendly on the property and they have gotten more washers and dryers and a new mail room! Don’t overlooked this property, you won’t regret it!

This sleepy gem of a community is amazing to live in. Everyone here is friendly and genuine, especially the staff. The units are updated to new style and if something needs to be fixed it’s taken care of within a day. They are constantly making improvements, and not just to units, which shows that they care about the community they’re building.

I was really excited to tour the apartment because of the great reviews and the information I found on the website. I was contacted by a leasing agent via messages prior to the tour and they were really communicative. However, I was disappointed by what I saw when I toured. Rent pricing on the website and what was communicated to me by the leasing agent was different than what the leasing agent in the office told me. The amenities listed on the website, such as the pool and the gym was not reflected in person. The pool is broken and is not available to the tenants and the fitness room had 3 cardio machines and looked like it was visibly not ready to be used. I am a Midwestern student who moved here in September. Compared to other apartments, the studio here had more sq. ft., was more affordable, and larger than some one bedrooms in the area. Laundry is on-site and a short walk. The community is very nice and safe. The manager, Christal, is awesome and knows each resident by name. I had an issue with my toilet, and they fixed it immediately, facility staff is always quick to make any repairs. It used to be a hotel, which has been converted to apartments. They have continued to work on things since I've been here, including redoing the parking lot, new AC/heat units, mail room, new internet, and many more improvements to come. It's a great area and community. Everything is included in the rent, which is convenient. It is perfect for any student

Just ended a 13-month lease—here’s my honest review of everything I experienced during that time. (Sorry for the length but figured this might be useful to someone.) Pros: - Chrystal is literally the best property manager—so nice, very responsive, and incredibly understanding and adaptable. Shoutout Philly! - Tom the maintenance guy is the undisputed goat. Nicest dude alive and will fix whatever issue you're dealing with same day. - The people are so nice and generally so quiet. This was my first apartment on my own after graduating, and I felt so safe and comfortable. I saw kids playing outside all the time, and people are always chatting with each other and even doing cookouts when the weather is nice. (Tbh I left my door unlocked all the time. Wouldn't recommend, but I didn’t lock it
