Elan Yorktown Apartments

Since Elan has now asked me no less than 3 times to "leave us a review" on Google, here we are. I toured the community and here is my honest take: - Leasing agent was kind, professional and knowledgeable. I appreciated her efforts a lot. - Common areas were very clean and welcoming - The gym is well equipped and had plenty of cardio machines as well as weights - The unit itself was quiet (even on a weekend) and spacious, required a key fob entry (not a fan, but not a dealbreaker), had a nice balcony (not very private, close enough to nearly reach over and high five a neighbor), parking garage is not heated ($150 per space is too high, I have the same garage currently and pay $100), carpet in the bedroom is appreciated, soaking tub looked divine, bathroom was a nice size. I wish I could give it more 5 stars. Maintenance is on top of their game. The cleaning guy is here everyday and is super friendly. The front office is always saying hello and greeting me with a smile. Also they will open the door for me when they see me walking my dogs. Manager is extremely nice and approachable. My unit is everything I hoped and dreamed of. The leasing staff were to patient with me when I wanted to see two different units. The area is honestly so convenient with target in walking distance and the mall so close by. You should 100% rent here

We moved out at the end of march after living here for a year and i would highly recommend looking elsewhere until they resolve their front office issues, along with a long list of other issues in the building. to detail the current situation, the front office is impossible to get ahold of or get a response from. We have sent countless emails, called (no one ever answers the phone and the voicemail box is always full) and still no communication. We had a bird nest on our patio making it difficult to retrieve our furniture, and no one will get in contact with us regarding this, even though we have offered to hire someone to relocate the nest and the bird. Really enjoying my new apartment at Elan. The location is great, and the staff Jackie & Kelly have been more than helpful. Hasn’t been hard making myself at home at all.

Recently moved from a house to Elan. Not sure where to begin with all the good about this place. I will start with the fact that I must have looked at about a dozen apartments in and around the area, none came close to even comparing with Elan. I was not In a huge rush to move, but I wanted to find my place. I wanted somewhere cozy and safe and my credit was not top notch. Some were so-so, office was unprofessional and rude, some were smelly, some had almost zero closet space, no storage, some got taken before I had the chance to apply and some denied me. None of this applied at Elan. They have it all, and the best staff ever to work with! Kelly, Karla and Jocelyn were all so pleasant to work with. Ladies, you rock and allowed us to find home! Thank you for being so kind and accommodating!
