Mutual of Omaha Mortgage

Overall, I was disappointed with the handling of my application. It seemed I had to "push" the process along. There were too many different people with whom I needed to interact. In one instance, I had to repeat sending documents to another person when I was told the documents sent to another had not arrived. Today I am looking at a letter from Loan Care regarding proof of flood insurance which I feel is very rude. They asked for "sufficient flood insurance information for 08/01/2025 to 08/02/2025 (one day, and dates mentioned 3x in the letter) immediately (appears I am being told not kindly asked). The letter went on to say that if they had to buy the insurance, "the plan we plan to buy: Will cost an estimated $2.95 (???)." If that were the case, why should I not let them do so? I still h

So VERY glad I chose Mutual of Omaha Mortgage for our refinancing. They are super thorough, Craig Lombardi (our "agent") was very patient, kind and willing to explain the details over and over to me (poor guy!) until I understood. I will guide everyone I know who is seeking a company they can trust for refinancing, etc. to Mutual of Omaha Mortgage!!

Daniel Beyer jumped into action on a weekend with zero notice to get us preapproved to put an offer in on our dream house. Only later did we find out that he was doing so from the hospital, where his wife had just given birth to their son! While I can't help but feel bad about blowing his phone up during that time, he knew how time-sensitive it was to complete all of this so that we'd have a chance at buying this home, and did everything he could do to get us there. We are forever grateful.

Matt was extremely informative from our very first conversation, as we were learning more as new home buyers. He was quick to get us information and respond to questions that came up. He was knowledgeable about the different loans we discussed, the current market and did his best to make sure that we go the best interest rate at the time. Would highly recommend Matt and the Mutual of Omaha team. We appreciate all he did to get us in our new home. We couldn't be more thankful for you walking us through the process.
