The Hammocks at Southern Hills

To the leasing office- in the future please take down the callers information and have someone else contact them, that is better prepared to take the time to clearly explain company policy until the caller is on the same page. Hanging up the phone on a caller because you believed you explained a policy and were “done” is unprofessional.

DONT LET THE NICE LOOKS DECEIVE YOU. I give this place 1 star because when they say upgraded apartment it just means they slapped some paint on the walls ( very cheap paint ) and put silver appliances in the kitchen. The heat and AC is always broken. When it breaks they don't come fix it in a timely manner so I either freeze or it's unbearably hot. It may look good at first but it is very thrown together. I have had nothing but constant issues and things needing to be fixed. Also, the people who take care of the property are rude an entitled and they let themselves in your apartment when they think it is okay to do so. I honestly wouldn't recommend moving here, the neighbors are mean, one even approached my daughter while walking our dog asking "what shes doing here". I bet if her skin col

We love our spacious townhouse & the friendly community here at The Hammocks! As new empty nesters, we no longer have to spend all of our time cleaning a large house or manicuring the lawn on a day off from work. It’s been a great move for us!

I love the landscaping, the pool, our beautiful apartment, and the people. Any requests for maintenance are handle very quickly and efficiently. The neighbors are quite friendly, but not intrusive. Grocery stores, banking, restaurants and services are within a 5 minute drive, possibly walkable for some. Fairport is a delightful area to live! This was an excellent choice for us!

I am starting my forth year here at the Hammocks. The staff is exceptional! The first year that I was here, I needed a hot water tank replaced. Barry was over the same day within an hour that I called he was over here replacing it. I had an issue with my dryer, and Brent was over immediately taking care of it. Sue, Cheryl, and Bob are absolutely amazing as well. They are always very helpful. I leave for work early, and in the winter, the team that takes care of all are snow are out there early in the morning even before I leave. I have never had an issue getting out of the complex in the winter. The grounds crew do a great job as well.
