The Flats at Leland

We really like it here; however, we do need more maintenance people as a place this big and old needs more attention. It's a super place for the kids to play also. Great playground. The dryer vents need to be cleaned and the A/C vents in the apartments need to be cleaned. Rain is washing a lot of the soil away because of no mulch. The managers here for the last year have been so very supportive of our needs as the apartments themselves go. Even with some inconveniences we would say, "Come be a neighbor!" and enjoy a wonderful park and great library within walking distance. Just don't bring any drugs or drug selling here. Dogs and cats are welcome! Just pick up after your pets. Thanks for reading!

I got my first apartment at The Flats at Leland for school. I’ve been living here for about 2 months and it has been the best 2 months here. The community is so sweet and I have made some amazing connections with the people here! One of my favorite things about this place is that they have no pet restrictions so it’s perfect for people with bigger dogs! On top of all of that the property manager and the leasing agent are so incredibly welcoming and sweet. I highly recommend coming here!

I am a previous tenant who lived at this property three years ago and had a very positive experience at that time, which makes my recent experience even more disappointing. The management has significantly declined. My upstairs neighbor allowed their animal to use the bathroom on their balcony, which repeatedly leaked onto mine and resulted in substantial damage to my outdoor furniture. Despite multiple attempts to clean the area, my balcony remained unusable due to recurring urine and a persistent odor that soaked into the wood. Management was notified several times and failed to take any corrective action. It should not be the resident’s responsibility to absorb the cost or burden of cleaning another tenant’s animal waste! Months went by and it was never cleared up. Ultimately I gave up

I called to schedule a tour and the women I spoke to over the phone stated well we close at 5 and I can’t stay over that . I explained the situation about wanting to send the application in yet never have seeing the place or facility and how I don’t live in this state and how due to my job I can never come earlier than passed 5 pm. She was okay I’ll wait but I can’t stay past 5:15 pm I arrived at 5:09 and they were nice about . So I drove to apartments they told me to show them my ID I explained had lost my wallet I had a Interm license paper Indicating that I didn’t have a license and that was my form of ID if I was to get pulled over by a cop . Yet the so called property manager stated yeah no we can’t allow you even with this . When I explained to her that I had just moved down and los

I had the greatest experience touring The Flats at Leland and such a pleasant, professional experience with the leasing agent, Risa. She was amazing. The apartment was super cute; the staging was amazing, and collectively between Risa and the apartment, I’m seriously considering it for my new home.
