The Encore at Sam Houston

I have honestly never had an issue living here. Maintenance is incredibly quick. Every time we’ve needed something, they’ve come either the same day or the very next day to take care of it. The apartments are really nice, especially with the new carpet they added this year. My favorite part of living here, though, is taking the shuttle with Mr. Roger. He’s hands down the best driver. He’s always kind, efficient, and he even surprises us with snacks sometimes. It truly makes living here even better.

Encore at Sam Houston Apartments are a great place to stay. A very concentrated community with lots of staff interaction with the residents. Emma Victoria and Ira are outstanding and excellent leasing and office staff. They are very helpful and informative and will help you out with assisting with any questions you have about your lease an any questions you have regarding the property. They have a relaxing pool and plenty of places to study. maintenance is excellent in fixing any problems that may occur or arise. Even sending help after office hours to assist in fixing any issues that might occur. Very fast service. The best appointment I have ever lived in.

First of all, do not be fooled by the stars here. They give out free stuff to people who leaves a positive review. Absolutely horrible maintenance, it took them 3 weeks to respond to my mattress replacement request. I could feel the metal springs in the mattress, and all they did after 3 weeks was to try to put an even older mattress, which i refused. Never heard from it again, so I had to buy my own mattress. They also did not replace the damages couch and charged me for it after I moved out. One of my roommates spent a year without light in his room. They never fixes it. The gym is really small. Only have dumbbells up to 40 lbs. There are only 2 treadmills and one of them has been broken for the last year. The pool is disgustingly dirty. If you ask, they say it will be cleaned shortly. N

Staff really went out of their way to make me feel at home. I loved the 24/7 amenities and how quickly they responded to any of my needs. Greatly enjoyed my experience!

Apartments are nicely updated, the staff is caring, and the grounds are clean. Seems to be a good value for what you pay, but I haven’t been to every property in town.
