The Courtyards at Arcata

The apartments themselves are great, but if you need anything the office won't have anyone in it ever. The old property manager was never there, so they promoted her. They hired a new one and she is there even less often. Calling Danco is of little help because they seem to prefer that no one ever be in the office. If you ask for maintenance, expect to wait at least a week, and communication to be slow if you get any at all. The community itself is great.

Nice, clean, apartments with Solar heating and electricity, edible landscape plants- blueberries, appletrees and ARTICHOKES! 2 PLAY AREAs FOR KIDS AND a stocked REC ROOM complete the grounds, easy freeway access and group challenges to pass your time on. Great community living for family's with small children or high energy teens.

I've had plenty of friends and family that lived here and it might be ok accept for the MANAGEMENT!!! Danco needs to boot Alex and Camille. They run it like they're own personal playground. The rules apply to everyone but them. Either they like you and let stuff slide or they personally attack you and give you warnings or write ups based on here say. I've seen it first hand on both sides and it just isn't fare. I'm glad I never rented there!

Very nice clean place to live! Also, helpful staff, and the manager was always more than willing to gwt in there and help when ever I needed something she above and beyond! The maintenance was always on it when ever I needed them!

hud housing says the rent should be no more than 30% of income. their rent for a 1 bedroom is 425 a month. disability income of 928 dollars would be a rent of about 274 dollars. courtyard is charging more like 45% of income on rent.
