The Cottages at Stillwater

If I could give lower than one star, I would. I’m making this post to warn people about my experience living at The Cottages. When I first moved in, I was so excited to have my own apartment. However, the apartment I was shown and the one I actually received were nothing alike. The unit I got had mold and a serious German roach infestation. No matter how clean I kept the apartment, the roaches never went away. It was clearly an infestation before I even moved in. I made many complaints during my lease, and I was honestly just relieved when my year was finally over. Even my neighbors in building 8161 said they started getting roaches too. The photos below show the difference the apartment with the brown cabinets is the one they showed me, and the other apartment is the one I actually got

I highly recommend Parkway North Apartments! For the price, it's honestly one of the best options in the area. While the apartments are a bit older, they are very well maintained and kept clean. Maintenance staff is consistently quick to address any issues, ensuring the units are always in good condition. The community is quiet and peaceful, and the residents are friendly and welcoming. The property manager is always approachable and ready to help with any questions or concerns. Overall, a great place to live!

I have lived at this complex for over 5 years. The price is right and it's usually quiet. Not anymore with the addition of new loud neighbors. Management has changed hands multiple times. The new management seems to care far more than others. They have added a few amenities. These apartments are old and show their age. See external photos. I've also asked a few times to have my front door repainted. Nothing to date.

I recently toured this apartment complex. The units are older but clean and well kept. They are pet friendly, which is super important to me, and the location is great. I understand they are under new management so I can't speak for whatever happened before the propy manager was very friendly and knowledgeable. The overall price for location can't be beaten.
