Summit on Prospect Apartments

Escaly Morales worked with me through easy steps by step from the first day of the walk through to the last day of getting the keys to my apartment. She is very polite and professional. Love how the building is nice and clean with a professional staff. I feel safe. I like the gym in place and the laundry room.

I just moved, but my experience so far has been very good, a modern and well-kept place, friendly staff, the administration is always attentive to any convenient. And I want to emphasize the great help of Escaly, the girl who taught me and guided me throughout the moving process. That girl is the best, thank you for everything. Girl, you deserve 5 stars.

Living in this apartment has been extremely frustrating. The unit gets hot as hell, making the conditions unbearable, and this has been an ongoing issue for over a year. We have complained multiple times, but management continues to ignore our concerns and treat us as if “do whatever you can — we’re not going to solve this issue.” What makes this even more upsetting is that we have a baby, and these conditions are especially unsafe and stressful for a family with an infant. This is not just discomfort — it affects our health, our child’s well-being, and our quality of life. Despite paying rent on time and following the lease, management has shown no urgency or responsibility in addressing this serious habitability issue. I would not recommend this building to anyone, especially families.

I have been living at Summit On Prospect for 9 months and I absolutely love my apartment!! JP Management acquired this property a few years ago, previous to them purchasing the property I would have never lived here. The property was called Quail Heights and whomever owned it did not run it properly, I have lived in two other buildings on Prospect and I always thought it was such a shame the Owner allowed the property to go down hill like they did (most complaints were probably true but please don’t believe everything you read!) Last Spring I was looking for an apartment and after seeing a billion places in Hackensack and a lot of towns in Bergen County I was getting very concerned. I lived at 240 Prospect Avenue for a year, and I can honestly say it was a wonderful experience. The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and located in a peaceful, convenient neighborhood. From day one, it felt like home. The management was always kind, professional, and quick to respond whenever I needed help or had questions. I’m especially going to miss the quiet surroundings, friendly neighbors, and the sense of comfort I felt living here. Unfortunately, I have to move out due to school, but this place will always hold a special place in my heart. If you’re looking for a safe, cozy, and welcoming apartment, I highly recommend 240 Prospect Avenue!
