Summit Knolls Apartments & Townhomes

Stayed with a friend for about a week. The 2/2 unit was spacious and well maintained. Full washer dryer, nice appliances, large walk in closet. Assigned parking for each apartment and plenty of visitor parking. Very quiet community and felt safe.

Front office is great. Everything else, not so much. Walls and windows are paper thin, we’re in a corner apartment and there’s people sitting out in their cars until midnight almost every night and it’s like having a running car right next to you as you’re trying to fall asleep. You can hear everything from your neighbors and they could hear you. There’s 0 amenities for the steep price, no sidewalks besides in front of the doors, no pool, no clubhouse, no playground. The neighbors are ok for the most part but again every single night people running their car right outside our window for hours at a time makes me want to blow my head off and it sounds like the wall isn’t even there.

I have lived in Summit Knolls for seven years. I love it. I have wonderful neighbors- mostly older single women- and we all feel safe. The old landlord and office staff were wonderful. Since his daughter has taken over, my rent has gone up over $500 a month in two years, plus they have added pet fees (despite the fact that a $1000 deposit was paid on moving in), and added $35/mo for water, which has always been included. My street was like a family and now we are all looking to move within the year because we can no longer afford to live there with the constant big rent raises. It's awful what they are doing to long time tenants on tight budgets for the sake of making a profit. The old office workers quit because they couldn't stomach it. I will truly miss it there after my lease is up. I

What I thought was gonna be a Great home for me and my kids. I did everything that was asked of me and was approved for the place. Had a date for a walk through and was about to pay my deposit. Later to find out the office leaked my personal information to an unknown source. And a random person know I was moving there called the office. And gave out my person information. The office took the call and shared my person information. I have emails to prove everything. I reached out to HR and they confirmed that on there end whoever did that it is a big problem I sent them the email to show from there office the general manager tried to then email and cover up things but he couldn’t because I had already had proof of everything…. I have lived at other apartment complexes but Summit Knolls is the best because of the people. I have lived here the past 9 years and I just love my neighbors - we all try to help each other. Other than that I have no issues at all with the office and maintenance and as a plus I am close to everything Webster! I understand why rent is increasing but it’s like that everywhere. I do not want to move from here as it really feels like my home.
