Stonewall Apartments

I have been living at Stonewall Apartments for 3 years. I love my apartment and my neighbors. The ladies in the office are quick to respond and always helpful. It’s a quiet neighborhood and they've made so many improvements to the property. Ive lived in a lot of places and this is one of the best places I’ve ever lived. Maintenance is quick and does a great job. It’s a great apartment to live.

I talked to a woman in the leasing office about still being connected to a lease in Illinois and it seemed to not be a problem. The following Monday I was contacted saying I wouldn’t be able to bring my elderly dog due to no pet policy which should be listed on their website. I then had to reach out myself a week later to find out I’m not approved due to the fact I’m associated with another lease we had already talked about. Very unprofessional and would not recommend applying.

The manager tried to cash my mother's postdated check, then charged her a late fee. (Keep an eye on your financial affairs when dealing with Amanda). *Office management is rude to guests and tenants. *Management will quickly tow your vehicle. *Some walkways are uneven and, therefore dangerous, especially for the elderly. *Large potholes throughout the parking lot. *The rent is affordable so that's a plus during these hard financial times.

I was told if I give a five star review that I would get a rent discount because this place is so accommodating financially. There is so much character here with the animals that I find in my cupboards and the rugged parking lots, really vibing with the natural state. I was worried moving here that I might get overwhelmed with the southern hospitality but not here! Keeps me on my toes that’s for sure.

I’ve lived at stonewall for over 5 years now and I love it. They are making renovations and all my neighbors are great. The ladies at the office have always been great. I’ve seen people be completely rude to them and they handle situations professionally so if anyone says anything other, it’s not true. Also, the rent is the cheapest in the area and I feel the safest, it’s quiet here without all the crime that’s going on like in other parts of JAX.
