Stonecrest Apartments

I have lived at Stonecrest for 3 years now and I am very happy. It is one of the nicest complexes in Gaffney and the property manager, Logan is so helpful and awesome! I have to be honest, the barn swallows have a migratory path right here and they make a mess but are protected birds and unfortunately, we have to suffer as tenants. If enough residents complain the corporate office might put up some type of barriers but it isn't the office or maintenance's fault because you can't keep up with cleaning after these birds. I feel safe here as a single woman and the parking at my current apartment isn't bad although people abused it where I lived before. I enjoy the pretty landscaping and the convenience of where I live and I hope it stays nice for years to come.

I lived at Stonecrest during my junior and senior years at Limestone University (prior to its closure). Overall, my unit was clean and in good condition when I moved in. My main concern during my time there was an ongoing issue with fruit flies, which would appear periodically throughout the year and became frustrating. Additionally, residents in the unit below mine frequently smoked despite the community’s no-smoking policy. Although I reported this to the office multiple times, the rule was not consistently enforced. The odor would temporarily improve but would eventually return. As someone with asthma, this was especially difficult, as the smoke often triggered headaches and discomfort.

Stonecrest apartments by any standards are pretty nice. Maintained fairly well, nice office staff. Pet friendly which is a plus. Cleaning up after your pet is a must. Rules!! Apply...

Lived here for one year. The apartment is spacious and relatively Nice on the inside. Probably one of the better options for Gaffney. However, had fruit flies from the time we moved in to the time we moved out. They were here before we got here and we did everything we could to get rid of them, but they never went away. Saw about two roaches the whole year. When it comes to maintenance, they were also not very much help. There was a door handle broken when we moved In and when I let them know, they just replaced it with a slightly less broken one Never gave us anything new. Even our air filter they just replaced it with a slightly less dirty one when our heat started Making the apartment smell weird. (Gross and probably a health hazard). We are saddened to relocate from our apartment at Stonecrest. The staff have been helpful and pleasant to work with, Hugh is always right around the corner with a helpful hand. Each time we had an issue Logan and Katelyn were quick to respond. Packages being taken to the post office has been a bit of an adjustment but no fault to management. Apartments are not soundproof but we expected to hear noise in the apartments. If you need a place in Gaffney, this is a great place to start!
