We had a fantastic experience working with the team at Stone Cottage. From the beginning, they were eager to work with our vision without being pushy or putting pressure on us. As our plans developed within our time frame and budget, we were impressed with the transparency on overall pricing vs. everything going into one opaque budget with limited insight. If an item changed, it was simply a line item credit. If we had an upgrade (which they were also very transparent on), it was added to the overall purchase price. This helped ensure a clear and consistent transaction with no ugly surprises that you hear about from other builders. Our family just moved in to a brand new home built by the Stone Cottage team. We never imagined building a new home but ever since our first meeting the experience has been awesome. They were accommodating to our needs and offered recommendations we didn't even think about. We have and will continue to refer people to Stone Cottage. Built-in in 2016 and had a wonderful experience. They went above and beyond to make things work. Deep and creative customizations of the floor plan and working on our timeline. This service went long after the one year warranty passed as well. You always hear horror stories on builders, but these guys are the exception.

Our home was built by these builders and while we knew there might be issues - no matter who built our home - the customer service afterwards is appalling. Our windows leak, our backyard does not drain. The builder no longer will communicate with us even tho our warranty is not up and the issues are not resolved.
