Star Financial Management

I have been involved in several HOA property management companies. This one was hired by Bald Eagle Point even though I advised them of the poor history behind this company. I decided to contact this company and give them a fair chance. Their reviews are accurate, poor communication. They do not answer their phone and have no voicemail set up. I also wrote them a handwritten letter and have not had any response.

Absolutely horrid. Steer clear at all costs. Unfortunately for us, our neighborhood is incomplete so we had no say in who would be managing the community. Needless to say, the second the HOA is turned over to homeowners, we will be saying auf Wiedersehen to Jan and her terrible company. 👋

To second the previous review… A lien was placed on my home before I even knew who star property management was. Third property manager in less than a year in my neighborhood, no statement sent out for over six months and the first thing I received was a lien. I attended the HOA meeting where Jan Rose came out took my information and told me she would get back to me and never did. Phone calls made to the property manager were never return and the gentleman answering the phone knew no other statement then "I beg to differ" while spouting out false statements he knew nothing about I had to hang up because I couldn't speak over his yelling. Incredibly shady and unprofessional.

Pure garbage. I sent a hand written letter requesting information and they have not responded for 3 months. They charge unreasonable fees and are basically scam artists if you follow the trail of reviews. We have not received the statement for the hoa dues for the second payment of the year, which we should have received on the 1st of the month. No one likes this company, and somehow they manage 29 subdivisions....

Their reliance on a 3rd party vendor for payments gets turned into my problem when it's not working. Says my account is blocked by Star management but no one knows how or why. 6 phone calls later I'm in the same spot.
