HiLine Homes of Star

Corey at Hiline of Star has been great to work with. He built a home for us in 2020 and we were really happy with the job. We had him back in 2022 to build an office for us as well. Corey has been very flexible to deal with and has stood behind his work. We had a few things we weren't happy with how they turned out during the construction phase and he made adjustments and made sure the job was done right and we were happy. They have always hit there work time lines and stayed on budget. We are now having them build a 3rd building for us. All in all we are happy with the value, timeliness and quality of the work that is provided.

This has been a regretful and painful experience. Almost a year later and it's still not 100% complete. Hiline is very responsive at first. Once they have you under contract they will slowly be less responsive. In particular, Corey. He will be very slow or non responsive to questions or status updates. If you hire Hiline and your general is Corey don't expect much. There is a reason why they are the lowest priced builder in Cascade and McCall area. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. If you hire Hiline, expect things to take twice as long as told. Expect the subs to call you because Corey doesn't have a clue what the status of the build is and if things are done and ready for the next sub. HiLine was just what we needed to get a house built on our lot with a floor plan that we liked and that met our HOA/city requirements. Building a house is a lot of work and a complex project to manage that I am glad we did not try to do ourselves. We could not have done this without the help of HiLine. Understand what is required on your end and be patient with the process. We were prepared with realistic expectations and are happy with the outcome.
