St. Charles Oaks Apartments

Where to begin. First moved in 2022 and the apartment was very nice and updated amenities, pool area was very nice. No complaints there. Can hear downstairs neighbors through the floors but that's kind of expected in apartments. What's not was the pot smoke which is against policy. They left notices on the neighbors doors which I appreciate and made a slight difference. The area which I give lower rating is the move out process. I cleaned the entire place and patched up any little holes from pictures over the past 1.5 years of living there. After moving out, they said the dishwasher was damaged and not functional (it was not damaged at all because I took care of it and even used it the day before moving) and the blinds all had to be replaced (they too were 100% fine). If I could do 0 stars I would, but they did give my new complex positive feedback about me. That is the only good that I took from the complex. From wannabe gangbangers fighting to drinking and way to much pot smoking (yes it’s legal but the complex is a non smoking complex), way to much police activity, ac unit is awful, and they overcharge and make up charges for move out with no proof of damages. The complex is not worth the rent. Maintenance is overworked as well as they have 2 big complexes they deal with. Stay away from this complex!!!!

Nice one to live here. It gives warmth of a "home" with a reasonably spacious backyard with storage. The whole apartment is gardened with wild plants and tall trees which gives a rich morning look (I enjoy with a refreshing coffee). Got a swimming pool and common area for laundry. I cannot say the house is handed over flawless, but if you make up your mind, the stay will be pleasant. The next door neighbors is friendly and I did not received any complaints amid the thin wall partitioning the living room. Enjoy your stay!

Whatever you do! Do not get involved with these apartments! They have screwed me over not only once but twice!!! All because they are allowing tenants to cancel their 30 days notice and let them stay. I am not out of a place to live within 16 days of when I was suppose to move in. Find somewhere else it is not worth the frustration & stress of whether your actually going to get the apartment you got accepted for. Unless you want to receive a phone call less than a month before you're suppose to move in saying that you can no longer have the apartment be the tenants decided to stay, then run far away from this messy situation!

I recently moved to St. Charles Oaks and had a really nice and smooth move-in experience. I truly thank Matson Medina (property manager) because he accommodated my tour visit, paper work, and move-in to match my strict timeline that I had with work. Matson always picked up my calls and answered my questions in a helpful and professional manner. My apartment was in a good condition upon arrival and I am looking forward to my stay here at St. Charles Oaks.
