Springs at Apple Valley Apartments

I’ve had a great experience living here for almost a year already. The community is clean, quiet, and well-maintained. The staff is friendly, quick to respond, and always helpful with any questions or requests. Any time I have had a maintenance request it gets handled quickly. Parking is easy, and I feel safe coming and going at any hour. I can walk my dog around the community at any time and I never have any issues. The dog parks are also well taken care of. The apartments themselves are modern, spacious, and feel like home. Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to live—highly recommend!

Don’t let the tour fool you, the “amenities” that are offered are garbage. The fire pit hasn’t worked since we moved in over a year ago, and the car wash is terrible. Absolutely no water pressure- just useless. The “lifestyle fee” is a scam. The gates are constantly breaking, and the appliances are old and cheap.

This place was one of the best when I toured after my separation that was ideal for a single parent with a small child and a dog that had private entries making it easy to get in and out of the house quickly and also came with a private garage and had the ideal amount of storage space. I had a great first 6 months here until my upstairs neighbors started causing noise issues. I had to move due to drunk neighbors above me scaring my 6 year old child with the unbearable noise. When I said something to the office about breaking my lease or a possible transfer, I apparently hadn't complained enough to get out without a fee. We have encountered several significant issues regarding billing transparency and property maintenance. Specifically, the lease agreement and associated documentation failed to clearly disclose several fees, including the move-out fees and the cleaning fees. Furthermore, the water utility billing, which is advertised as a shared, consumption-based charge, appears to be an equalized daily fee for all residents. Maintenance requests have been addressed inconsistently; required repairs are often delayed or incomplete, and when work is performed, technicians leave behind debris and require the resident to clean the work area. Believe the comments about move out issues and not getting your deposit back. They send you at least 3 emails about their Pack n Go service, which is minimum $200 for a one bedroom. They try to sell this package as a steal to avoid cleaning and unwanted charges. Ultimately, I did not elect that option and was charged the entirety of the service plus additional fees anyways. My security deposit was completely wiped out and I was charged $50 on top. I asked for invoices and they couldn't provide anything. I also requested confirmation that the cleaning was truly done as I left the apartment in better condition than I received it. Word of advice: take pictures of everything before you move in. Document everything! Or avoid.
