DO NOT MOVE IN 255 !! Was SPAXEL BUT PEEK TOOK OVER Worse living experience ive ever had. Literally a scam. They dont fix anything, its dirty they dont take care of the properties, infestation with rats and 🪳roaches.. not mice RATS you can hear them in the walls. roach smell is in the kitchen vent, impossible to eat or cook in the kitchens no matter how much you clean, the roaches and residue come back in the cabinets. The roaches and rats are nesting in the walls! The rats left stopping and pee on all the clothes in the closet I had to throw out all my clothes and shoes. They were nesting in our sneakers. Applied for one of their properties I found on Rentcafe and didn’t hear anything back so I went to directly to their website and even called them to leave voicemails. Still no response. They’re unresponsive and like to rack us on application fees. $150 down the drain in application fees as I paid $75 for me and my coapplicant..

Dmaia Devoe at The Hills at Cobb is very difficult to work with. I canceled my application upon availability. I would not recommend this company.

The apartments 255 south Harrison street in east orange are disgusting I have family who has been there over 20 years in the whole apartment. It’s just breaking down. I have contacted them over emails with pictures and nothing still has been done! It’s infested with roaches and mice the pip system smells sinks are stopped up. Some of the people who has moved in over the years just let there dogs poop all in the inside of the apartment complex, they leave trash everywhere. It’s really inhumane in my family’s apartment unit. He’s older and don’t want to move which is the difficult part for me! I called the inspector and code safety we’ll see what happens.

PSA - If you have a car, do NOT move into 269 South Harrison Street. There will never be any parking. There’s like 20 street spots for a building that definitely has 250+ people in it. A lot of the spots are taken all day because no one leaves. If you stay out past 8 for whatever reason you will not get a spot. I’ve had to park my car in a rest stop or sleep in it because I couldn’t get into my own apartment I pay rent for. If you don’t have a car than no problem. If you have one then AVOID
