Southpoint Apartments

The Good: Clean and safe place to live on the south side of town. Great response for maintenance and overall the staff are very responsive. Central Air is a plus. Not many apartments in town offer this without having to pay a fortune. The Bad: They will try to squeeze every penny they can out of their tenants. I paid 2x rent to break my lease early which is common practice. I was completely moved out a few weeks prior to my lease ending and was told I could not turn in my keys earlier or I would have to pay an additional fee which was absurd being I already paid $3k to break my lease early. When I told maintenance this, they were upset with the rental office because they could've been in there fixing what needed to be fixed sooner and prepping for the next tenant. My microwave was broken

I moved in just 1 week. Trinity, my lease agent, is very thoughtful and helpful. Every now and then she would check to see if I have any question or “is everything ok?” I would definitely recommend her. Ashland Apartment is nearby grocery stores, Sam Club, Wal-mart and car dealerships.
