Cottage Grove Apartments

We have lived here since July and we have never lived in an Apartment Complex. The other tenants are very courteous and friendly. Even had a neighbor help us with our car a young gentleman. Clean complex well maintained.

Been an amazing experience living here, they’ve worked with us beyond anything imagined, and have made living at Cottage Grove a blessing. I couldn’t ask for a better property management.

No “pond” views, no on site “fitness center” and no on site pet cleaning station, and Garages leak water in from the doors,.Rent has increased from 1050 with only needing to pay electricity and internet, to now 1400 plus 120 ish a month in utilities. The best part about the utilities, is they are split across all the apartments, so even if you don’t use heat/ ac. You are still paying the same as everyone else! So right around a 33 percent increase in cost to live here and not one thing has been updated with the apartment complex, the parking lot is terrible for finding a spot, snow removal sucks. This review is meant for The cottages and suites, not Cottage Grove Apartments. Cottage Grove apartments are beautiful. My text refers to Cottages and Suites in close proximity to Cottage Grove Apartments. Management doesn't take care of tenants very well. I was harassed by neighbor at cottages ,and no one offered to mention a vacany where I could relocate to. Harassment continued,and elderly person gloated on her behavior with other people. My neighbor's living room window faced my whole unit. She spied on me ,stared,and threatened my beautiful cat in yard. smoking is allowed in units as well. The smoking by both my neighbors was choking me. There are no sidewalks for elderly to walk on there;there are big potholes on roads all over leading through complex. Not a good experience at

I've lived here since 2018, moving out now in 2024. It's been a wonderful place to live. I really don't have anything negative to say. Being career military, this is the longest address I've lived at in my entire career, and there's reasons for it. It's a very quiet, well maintained property. It's pet friendly, the maintenance has always been responsive and fast (I've only had to call them maybe 3 times the entire time to fix something in my apartment), the office staff communicates well and the online portal is great. The building itself has always been quiet as has been the area (not as quiet since they built that eyesore the district out back), I don't believe the police have been called for anything in the building or along the street.
