Sorrento Apartments

We had the worst experience living in Sorrento apartments (over 5 years). Homeless people would frequently try to enter our ground floor apartment, shooting up in the laundry room, broke into our vehicle, stole clothes out of the laundry room, or trying to talk to my child by offering them a free ipad. The laundry room is always a mess and disgusting, they charge you $4 a load for washers and dryers that don't clean your clothes/burn them. The grounds are super disgusting, trash cans overflowing, dog poop everywhere, and trash all over the grass and bushes. Maintenance requests were a nightmare, we would often have to put multiple requests in because they were lazy and would throw them out and say they were done. I recently renewed my lease going on my 3rd year here. I love my apartment and the community. Very quiet. The staff is fantastic, and work orders get done in a timely manner. Great place to live!

Stopped by Sorrento Apartments during our property outreach today and had the pleasure of meeting Bre at the front office. She was extremely friendly and welcoming, took the time to help us out, and made sure we had the manager’s information before we left. Great first impression the kind of professionalism and positive energy you love to see at a community.

Don't believe the reviews claiming this place has turned around like I did. This place is a dump, the staff does not enforce their own rules. People are constantly working on their vehicles in the parking lot, though it’s against the rules. There is dog poop everywhere, including the sidewalks because people don’t pickup after their dogs. The poop bag stations are regularly empty, when you tell them it takes days to get them refilled. We pay a pet fee, these should ALWAYS be available and we should NOT have to ask to have them filled! Maintenance is LAZY! They leave trash throughout the property for days before picking it up. I’ve watched them repeatedly walk by trash and shopping carts and just leave them there. Sorrento needs to get their shit together! While the apartments look nice they are cheap and not updated like they claim. The floors are a cheap peel and stick vinyl that tears easily. There's roaches that come in through the drains and sinks and you can not get rid of them. Tonight I tried to get a shower to feel refreshed after a long day but the water was boiling and no matter which way I turned the knob there's no such thing as cold water. I ran the shower for 45 minutes waiting for an ounce of cold water so I could shower as quickly as possible and finally gave up. Now i'm pissed off because I burned myself with the water and still haven't gotten a shower. Don't even get me started about the homeless people that sleep on the property. It's not even safe to walk my dog at night because
