After 6 months of living in my apartment building as the literal first person to move in, Simple apparently purchased the property. Zero notice was given by either party about the sale or transfer, Simple simply shoved some paperwork underneath my door on 2/26 stating to not pay the previous landlord with rent due 3 days later. The previous landlord shutdown their portal website the following day while Simple requested documentation that could only be accessed there which thankfully I was able to download and screenshot. I regularly pay ahead and lost money on my rent, I was told both that they would see what records I had by one person and by another that the previous landlord was responsible for it. They seem to have almost zero information about the existing tenants of the building.

I’ve read all the bad reviews but honestly, I did not have one issue with Simple Property management from the beginning. I was in contact with Atalie. Who was a huge help and was able to get me into a studio apartment right away considering my situation with just becoming a single mom she was very understanding. Obviously I had the amount that they asked for which you’ll get at any place! I LOVED this studio. Unfortunately, I lived in the studio for four months due to me breaking the lease due to the tenant below me excruciatingly smoking every single day. I have very bad asthma where i ended up having to be in the hospital for. So I had just moved in to a house. Before I moved while I was viewing the house there was something’s that needed a major repair. I stated to the lady that was showing the house in the viewing. She said she would get it fixed In which they didn’t. So fast forward to the day we are supposed to move in we are supposed to receive our keys and I see these things that I stated and asked if they can be fixed still aren’t done. So I asked once again if they can be fixed so I postponed my move in date once again and they still didn’t fix anything almost a month later. So at this point I’ve already wasted to much time and just have to move in so I do and then I asked once again in which of the repairs that I needed done if they would ever get done they told me to submit a ticket and if it possible

If I could give 0 stars to this place I WOULD. I’ve had issues with the management here since the moment we signed the lease. We were supposed to move in on the 1st of the month and couldn’t until the 15th, because they were “cleaning and getting rid of roaches” just for us to move in to a filthy apartment that’s infested with roaches still. What were they doing those entire 15 days???? Then when I told them about the roaches still being an issue they said “well there’s nothing we can do about it you wanted to move in so bad” as if it wasn’t QUITE LITERALLY the day I was supposed to move in on my LEASE. my apartment was broken into because of how old and horrible the front windows are, when I told them about it, it was “well we changed the locks when you moved in so I don’t know” BEYOND ig

Horrible company!!! You can’t even rent from them if you want to. I have sent e mails made phone calls one call was answered with screaming children in the back ground how professional! They will be definite slum lords!!! Don’t run my credit
