Dryer stopped working not long after we moved in and we had to run it 3+ times to finish a load, fridge temp was messed up on multiple occasions (would freeze food because temp system was messed up, literal sheets of ice formed on the shelves, a lot of food was ruined), dishwasher also started leaking and maintenance team recommended we personally buy a dishwasher cleaning solution. Air conditioner faulty: it was sooooo hot during the summer even though the thermostat was set below 68, they "fixed" it but within a couple days it stopped working again. It was really frustrating to have so many appliances break/stop working during our lease....we were there for less than 12 months. Maintenance was great, efficient (online work order requests): very responsive took less than 24hrs to respond

I’ve been here For 15/16 years Ha ha, maybe longer but I asked for different tasks like the floor fixed or replaced in the bathroom and they wouldn’t do that. I have a sink that’s gonna crack in it. That’s been there forever when I moved in. They’re not fixing that so hopefully when I do move out, they’ll take all these things in consideration and not look to me and say oh you did that that’s worse than wearing hair that was there the very Beginning!! Otherwise, it hasn’t been bad. It’d be nice if the halls were cleaner, but I guess they’ve been having a hard time finding some steady Apartment Cleaner!!! Giving Shadow Hills 5/5 because I had a wonderful experience living here! Management did a wonderful job at communicating, maintenance always came quickly, and the common areas were kept very clean. I lived in the 10000 building and felt all my neighbors were respectful and quiet. I have a dog and the dog park is HUGE for an apartment complex. I also appreciate that the residents do a good job at picking up after their dogs since I’ve seen this be an issue at past apartment complexes. This complex is a little older, but they’ve done a wonderful job with the up keep of the property. The neighborhood is quiet and has some nice areas to walk. Also love that there is a 24 hour Cub Foods right down the street. Would definitely recommend Shadow Hills!

We lived here for approximately two years. The leasing office was great with email communication and all submitted work requests including on the weekends were fixed immediately.

Hands down, this property has the best floor plans I have seen yet. My one bedroom Plymouth features its own laundry room with full size machines and the best kitchen I’ve seen in an apartment- so many cabinets! My unit has walnut cabinets and doors, two ceiling fans, a large bathroom and plush carpet. It’s a traditional look I am enjoying after living with vinyl plank floors and darker wood finishes throughout for some time. Parking bonus! One garage space is included in rent and outdoor space is plentiful, both of which seem to be rare these days. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The pool actually has a deeper/swim-able end and the party room looks great. The fitness center is one of the largest and most well equipped I’ve seen on any property.
