SandRidge Townhouses and Apartments

We have lived in a townhouse here for 2 1/2 years. We have absolutely loved it. The owner George and maintenance Corey and Nathan are working so hard updating all units. They have responded very quickly and positively to any issues we’ve had. I read some reviews, but if you pay your rent, care for your unit and respect your neighbors you will have no issues. Living here has been a wonderful experience, We are sad to leave but life changes. Thank you George for being great.

If I could give this place no stars, I would. I lived here with my sister 5 or 6 years ago and my sister wanted to move out into her own place and the women in the office said she could. Then...the owner George, decided that wasn't okay after she was already gone and gave an eviction notice stating it was against the lease. Even though I could pay for it on my own. My sister is now trying to get a place again and she needed proof that it was paid and I paid what we owed in a little bit of back rent after the eviction. I was given a receipt but I've moved around a lot since then and I'm not sure where the receipt is. She called the office and a woman told her she would look into it. By far the BEST place I've ever lived! When my boyfriend and I started looking for a place, I was at first skeptical from the reviews. We still decided to call and move forward with touring some of the apartments available. Not only was George quick at responding, but he was also very patient with us! Needless to say, we moved in in November and we both love it!! George and Corey respond to our maintenance issues right away and also followed up to make sure things were still good afterwards. They went above and beyond the normal and I would know...I'm an apartment manager myself for a property in downtown Lansing. I love my new home and would definitely recommend GDI properties to any of my friends or family!

Was a tenant of GDI properties at a duplex. Wish the owner didn't treat me and my room mates at the time like children. Overall a decent person to deal with, but highly recommend not living under him if you're young. He's also a senile old guy and his nephew dresses unprofessionally for a repair man.

We lived in the townhomes (#14) for about 2 years. We have had a series of problematic events related to interactions with George (the owner). The unit themselves are decent and the complex is in a nice location. The community is pretty chill and people are for the most part quiet.The maintenance guy is really nice and he honestly doesn't deserve to be under that toxic management. There isn't a way to manage payments or maintenance requests online, which has led to some issues. George is unprofessional, but has the potential to be cordial. I imagine he probably picks and chooses who to be a decent human to, so some people may have had pleasant interactions with him. I would go out on a limb and call him a fraud.
