San Jose Manor Apartments

I have lived at San Jose Manor for three years and I love it. Amy and her management team are amazing. Any question I have ever had they have been more than happy to answer. The maintenance team is also amazing. They are always making sure that the complex looks clean and neat. I’ve seen them out and about as early as 6am after a storm picking up debris. All maintenance calls have been addressed withing 24 hours. The grounds are always beautiful and clean. They decorate for holidays and there is a pumpkin carving contest on Halloween and a window decorating contest for Christmas. If you are into sports, they have something for you. I have lived here for about 5 years now and I've really enjoyed it. They've done so many improvements over the years. They always maintain the wonderful courtyards. They improved the pool area and the sports courts in the back. Every year they do a pumpkin decorating contest and window holiday decorating contest. They go all out decorating the courtyard for the holidays. And this year they held an actual Halloween get together with a food truck and movie by the pool. The apartments can definitely feel a bit small at times with a partner and a few cats, and its a little funky without having a door between the bedroom and living room. But maintenance is always fast to respond and kind, they never raise rent too much, and there is a great sense of community.

- Unprofessional Leasing Staff, bad communication, notices for water shut offs never seem to be sent out, also don't write a bad review until you're ready to leave, they will not extend your lease and kick you out. - High cost, heavy rent increases with every lease renewal, minimum 90$ per increase in my experience - Noisy leaf blowers used too frequently, Monday through Friday every morning for about 2 to 3 hours - Loud surrounding area with lots of construction, loud neighbors, just a very noisy place in general. - Units have one large window in front which allows anyone walking by to peak into your unit, and they will, especially children. - parking lots leave cars exposed to the excessive leaf blowing and bird droppings, car will never be clean for more than 12 hours, I do part ti

I've been here for a few months and they're really good with the maintenance they're fixing issues. But one resident complaint because I had my one of my dogs here and yes I understand that there is no dog policy but she has other people here with dogs.. and if it's a medical condition or whatever mine is two I suffer frame anxiety is the and there's a lot more.. So for her just to ask me to leave my dog or move out my dog just like that and these other people have their dogs here.. When I asked him the property management why do those the other people have the dogs here this is just other reasons she never stated anything. To my thing is everybody that has a dog around here is Caucasian.. and guess what colors though property managers.. I believe we pick and choose who want to pick on..

Great place for if you don't need much space, and don't have children or pets. The one bedrooms are separated by a partition wall, no door, which is fine but not suitable for a growing family. Very clean courtyard and very pretty. Never had any roaches. Pretty quiet for the most part besides the daily morning yardwork. leasing office and management are super easy to communicate with and really nice people overall. Our ac unit has always worked perfect and cools the entire space to 68 degrees all day throughout the summer. Kitchens are small and small oven but it works! Lived here for about 2 years.
