Review edit as of June 11, 2024: our air conditioning has been broken for 4 weeks. We have been told it will be fixed, but the contractor has 250 other apartments to service first so we don't even have a time frame for when the repair is going to happen. How is this habitable when it was 90 degrees outside and 86 inside!? How is this acceptable. They don't even have a portable unit available to lend us. They haven't opened the pool yet either. Where do I even start about this poorly managed property??? This review is going to be long, but please if you are even considering moving here, please read this through! So guys- here is the most honest review that I can give from a girl, from Texas, who has lived in four states… I flew into Georgia in August for 48 hours… I saw 12 apartments in 24 hours, I stumbled upon River Vista last minute and they were technically closed… but I begged for a last-minute tour on Saturday. I really liked the size, the price and…. I really really liked the staff… (btw- its by a beautiful nature preserve). I went back to Texas and signed a lease 2 weeks later. I applied for a different apartment, sight unseen. I moved in a month later directly from Texas. I have been here six months, and I can honestly say this is the best apartment complex I have ever lived in. Everybody is so sweet and friendly. My experience with River Vista so far has been great! Dee was very informative and helpful when I came to tour a unit. Nico helped me through the application process and has allowed this transition to be stress free with quick and efficient responses. They have both been extremely helpful and gracious. I look forward to moving in and hope that this great experience will continue throughout my time here. I am coming from an extremely problematic rental property as far as upkeep and comfortability. I would like to give a special shout-out to the property assistant manager/leasing consultant, Ms. "Dee with the wings." She is an absolute Godsend!!! I've been looking for a new home in the area for a few months and couldn't find anything for my family and I because everywhere was full. Ms. Dee is one of the most kind-hearted property managers we've met throughout our process of finding a new home. She was very understanding of and compassionate about our situation, and she kept in contact with us until she was finally able to find what we needed!!! It’s been since May 31st and I have no working A/C. Even after lie after lie that they are sending someone. The property manager never knows what’s going on and doesn’t call back after you call to get updates on information. IF YOU ARE THINKING OF MOVING HERE DONT! Or at least wait until this current property management company leaves and the new one takes over! They tried to act like I was making up an issue with the electricity in my unit until someone else started having the same issue THEN they finally made a call to GA power. At no point was anything offered to me even though with electricity issues that meant my food in my refrigerator went bad, I couldn’t cook due to having an electric stove & had no general enjoyment of my unit as a whole.
