Renwood Apartments

By far, the worst value for your hard earned money. I lived there six years. There is virtually no management. Electric bills run over $600 each month in the winter months. There is lead and orthophosphates in the water supply. The windows are rotted and barely open for ventilation. If you are a good tenant who pays on time, you will be slammed with rent increases every lease renewal. They will charge you month to month fees exceeding an additional 200 per month when your lease expires. This property will suck you in and you’ll never escape the deplorable living conditions. Prospective renters beware.

Xiomara is unprofessional, rude, and never in the office. They cheaply renovate the units by slapping on grey paint and grey floors. It's extremely overpriced for what it is. Windows were not renovated and full of mold. Walls are so thin that I could hear my neighbors like they were in the room with me. Water frequently turns brown and pipes freeze constantly in the winter leaving you with no water. Bugs crawl out of the shower drain if you don't use it everyday. Electric bill was over $300 in the winter for a 1 bedroom. Unit isn't well insulated and cold air pours in. Parking isn't guaranteed and they usually don't plow (if they do it's at the very end of the day) Xiomara claimed that many renters were students and professors which is very untrue. I have lived here for over a year now....absolutely love it here. Everyone has been super nice & efficient with repairs. I can't speak highly enough about your manager, she goes well beyond her job and her door is always open. I think I finally found a place I can call home.

RIP OFF! They are quick to take your money, but refuse to pay and help fix things that, as owners, they should fix. GO ANYWHERE ELSE! LEAVE WHILE YOU CAN. THIS IS MY WARNING!

Just as bad as Broadmoor. Except management seemed a bit.more attentive and willing to TRY to do their job!
